President & Partner, Linear Infrastructure Group
Nguyenvu Vo (Vo) is the President and one of four founding partners of Linear Infrastructure Group, bringing over two decades of leadership and technical expertise in bridge and structural engineering. A refugee originally from Vietnam, Vo came to Georgia in 1997 and has since made metro Atlanta his home. He currently resides in Gwinnett County with his family and remains actively involved in his community, dedicating much of his time to volunteer work with the Archdiocese of Atlanta — a reflection of his strong values in service, faith, and community engagement.
Vo earned a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Georgia. His career spans both public and private sectors, offering a broad perspective on infrastructure delivery. He spent over 10 years as a Lead Bridge Engineer at the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), gaining extensive in-house training and managing complex, hands-on bridge projects.
For the past 8+ years, Vo has served as Principal Engineer and Bridge Section Manager at a prominent national firm in Atlanta — where he led a technical team responsible for delivering a wide range of infrastructure projects across Georgia. His work has included everything from rural bridge replacements to large-scale urban transportation solutions.
Vo is highly experienced in AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, the GDOT Bridge Manual, and GDOT CAD standards. His expertise includes full project life-cycle responsibilities: from concept development and preliminary engineering to final bridge plans, contractor coordination, and stakeholder engagement. His deep knowledge of GDOT processes and practical design implementation makes him a key asset for delivering both routine and complex bridge projects efficiently and successfully.

Vice President and Partner
Kevin Kahle, PE, SE is Vice President and one of four founding partners at Linear Infrastructure Group. Raised in Greenville, SC, Kevin developed an interest in civil engineering after observing a major expansion of the facilities at Greenville-Spartanburg Airport during his job there following high school. He attended Auburn University where he received both Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Civil Engineering. His graduate coursework focused on the geotechnical and structural disciplines, and his research was in the soil-structural interaction of drilled shaft foundations.
Kevin has a unique blend of engineering, construction, and direct field work gained during his 25-year career. While working during undergraduate and graduate school Kevin held positions as an ironworker/fitter in the heavy steel fabrication industry, a cost estimator for a contractor, and a technician for a geotechnical engineer. Following graduation he began to focus on bridge design, working as a designer on bridge projects throughout Georgia, including rural bridge replacements, major river crossings in coastal Georgia, and complex urban infrastructure projects in downtown Atlanta. Kevin worked for nearly three years on large capital projects at the Atlanta Airport including the 5th Runway bridge over I-285 and the Automated People Mover that operates between the Car Rental Center and the Airport Terminal.
Advancing in his profession, Kevin became the Southeast Bridge Structures Manager for a prominent national firm in Atlanta. He also gained additional bridge experience outside of Georgia, successfully completing major bridge projects in Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, and Maine. Kevin often developed the staged bridge and wall construction sequences that were the basis for the horizontal and vertical alignments for the entire project. He also served as the resident engineer for several large bridge projects during this time. As Georgia DOT transitioned to bundled bridge replacement contracts, he undertook Project Manager roles, organizing and leading large design teams. Prior to joining Linear Infrastructure Group Kevin was actively leading the design of 21 bridge replacements.
Kevin holds both PE and SE (Structural Engineer) licenses in Georgia as well as PE licenses in other eastern seaboard states. In the past five years his bridge projects have twice won the GPTQ Award for Best Bridge/Structural Design – CR 661/Blackhall Road in 2020 and Rogers Pedestrian Bridge/Chattahoochee River in 2023.
Residing in metro-Atlanta since 1996, Mr. Kahle takes pride in his involvement with the region’s evolving transportation infrastructure that neighbors, friends, family and visitors here rely on every single day. He lives in Marietta with his wife Betsy where he is the father of four daughters and has recently become a father-in-law. He is an active member at East Cobb Presbyterian where he teaches 3rd grade Sunday school. When not working or spending time with family Kevin enjoys being outdoors camping, snow skiing, and taking his raft out to float the ‘Hooch. He also enjoys planning/taking exciting road trips exploring this amazing country.

Chris Edmondson is currently Vice President and co-founder of Linear Infrastructure Group. He is a 1991 graduate of Southern College of Technology (Now a part of Kennesaw State University) with over 33 years of transportation design and construction experience. He has been fortunate to work on projects all over Georgia and beyond involving every functional classification of roadway with project costs ranging from the low six figures to billions of dollars. Some of the projects which he has led or been strategically involved have implemented cutting edge design practices including accelerated bridge construction.
He started his career with the Georgia Department of Transportation Road and Airport Design Section, working on roadway projects across Georgia. Since then, he has spent the remaining years in the private sector continuing to enhance and expand his skill set as both a design engineer, subject matter expert and project manager. His hands-on involvement and well-established working relationships throughout the state have been keys to the success and reputation that he and his projects have earned. Chris has successfully navigated his client’s projects through the comprehensive design development process for both local and GDOT sponsored actions. Including award winning projects like the Southeast Newnan Bypass Extension, Social Circle-Fairplay Road Relocation, Blackhall Road over Rum Creek and the emergency culvert replacement of McEver Road over Mud Creek. He is adept at interpreting and applying GDOT’s design preferences as they apply to each project, and he has a comprehensive knowledge of relevant standards, specifications and construction practices.
As a project manager and team leader, Chris is very familiar with the GDOT Plan Development Process and its implementation on applicable projects.
